DMA ARTISTRY

I am a proud mama of three amazing boys, multi-faceted artist, and business owner. Painting and drawing in my spare time while running my beauty business out of Rebel Hair Studio, where I specialize in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup artistry. I also offer on site hair and makeup for weddings, photo shoots, fashion shows and other special events. I am reiki certified, which I infuse into my everyday life and artistry in an effort to keep those good vibes flowing, always.

 

Some of my past on-site work includes hair and makeup for events to raise money for the Veterans Advocacy Services, makeup for The Vagina Monologues ad campaign, and Designer Denise Hajjar fashion show where I had the honor of doing hair for Boston Based Celebrities such as Janet Woo, Simone Winston, and Charlotte Richie alongside  Ashley Karlson, owner of Glam by AK , of which I have had the pleasure of doing bridal work for, for many years. Recently, I have also had the honor of becoming part of the Leather & Lace Artistry team founded by Bre Welch. I am so excited and humbled to be able to work  with such talented and inspiring  women.

 

I have over 17 years of experience and obtained most of my training as a hairstylist from a high end celebrity salon in Boston. There I learned the discipline and hard work it takes to succeed in the field. The training I received from Celebrity makeup artist, Debra Macki,  inspired me to set sail on my journey as a makeup artist. Allowing me to broaden my offerings as a creative individual in the beauty industry, including being a certified artist & rep for Pure Colors Makeup. A clean, cruelty free, vegan makeup line that I love, love, love! 

 

My passion for the beauty industry started when I was just a young girl and is fueled by my life long desire to create beautiful works of art. With an obsession for detail, I strive to deliver perfect results. Whether hair or makeup, I know the importance of listening and working with you to achieve the look you desire. As a hairstylist and makeup artist, I love that my job is to help bring out the happiness and beauty of others.
